Carrie Fisher, the princess and so much more of our hearts

She showed us that it was ok to be open and honest about illnesses. She should us that it was ok to different and unique. She showed us that it was not only a boys world but just as much a woman's world too.

She showed that as long as you were true to yourself, you were going to be fine. She showed us that Princesses could kick major ass. And sometimes a Princess could rescused herself instead of waiting to be rescued.

She will be missed but her legacy will live on! She is now one with the force and the force is with her!

Rogue One

Spoilers maybe

I thought it was OK, good but not great! I need to see it again, but I kinda had guessed most of what happened, and could not really invest in the characters!

But that being said, I thought it was a good adult star wars movie, made for fans who grew up watching the OT, loved all the throw backs and Easter eggs !

Rain and Star Wars

What a difference a year makes, this time last year Froggy and I were awaiting the release of Star Wars episode is 7-the force awakens! And now we are waiting for the release of "Rogue One-A Star Wars story! Just under 13 hours to go!

This has not been the best year and it has not been the worst, it's been somewhat crazy year! It's been filled with life and death, ups and downs, Happy times and good times! The whole cricle of life!

The best thing about tonight besides seeing the new movie is that we are double dating with some dear friends! Love the fact that our friends are just as geeky as we are and understand the joys of being geeky!

This other great thing about tonight is we are supposed to get a lot of rain and Cali needs rain!

I know that this blog is random but as you know my dear readers that is how my mind works!

Proud to be a part of the 5%

Who is voting 3rd party this election. Some may call it a throw away vote, but I call it a vote for change, vote that shows the 2 party system is no longer working. It's a vote to show that there are always other options and not everything is black and white:

From Gary Johnson :

Whatever happens tomorrow, understand, we won.

Thank You!

The Republican and Democratic parties are billion dollar political machines.

They are, by far, the most politically powerful private corporations in the world.

Governor Weld and I ran on the Libertarian ticket with a simple premise: America deserve better – a President and Vice President that serve everyone.

Through a primary election where the media focused every waking hour on the bad candidates nominated by the Democratic and Republican Party – you stood by me.

Thank you.

Through an election season full of debates and polls that suggest our future can only be led by an angry red team or a compromised blue team – you joined our positive team.

Thank you.

Against a system of election and campaign finance laws that allows the two candidates automatic ballot access and, literally, billions of special interest dollars to flow through their parties, PACs, and “media” partners – you put your interest in an opportunity.

Thank you.

Whatever happens tomorrow, understand, we won.

We smashed fundraising records.

We are set to gain ballot access and federal funding for a third party.

And we’ve introduced millions of Americans to an idea that cannot be stopped – we don’t have to settle for a lesser of two evils.

Don’t be impatient. Revolutions take time.

Be understanding of those who haven’t yet joined us. Revolutions require consensus.

Our future in this country is bright. We are on a pathway to the best America yet.

I am honored to be a part of the positive momentum.

Thank you for leading the way.

Now go out and get your friends and family to vote FOR a better America!
I'm in,

Gov. Gary Johnson

13 years

since my first suicidal plan popped into my head (and I almost followed though with it) and And I am still here, days are bad sometimes but the good days are good if not better than they were.

The following just a few of the lessons I have learned since :

Life is about finding the joy in the small things and knowing that there will be sad days and it's OK for the sad days. You can even fall during the sad times but the key is to not hit bottom and remember that the light is still there, it's only a matter of finding it and knowing that one is not alone.

The happy days are ok too, nothing wrong with being happy, the key is not to the fake the happy. The key is to embrace the happy and find the joy in life!

There is so much that this life has to offer and the fact that each and everyone of us is important and matters to someone else!

It's OK to be different, stange and March to ones own beat. What is normal in the first, we are all different snowflakes and that is what makes us wonderful.

Finding something that makes you happy and no one else is totally find for it's your life and no one else, unless someone has walked in your own shoes, they have no right to judge.

If someone is making you have more bad / nagitvie days, it's OK to cut ties with thay.

Find your happy place and make it your own, remember it during the bad days and make it more bight during the good days!

Each day is a new adventure, a gift given to us by God, live it to the best that you can for that day and if something does not get done remember that tomorrow is a new day! Another chance to celebrate your life the best way you know how to!

The key is just to be alive and grow each and every day!

This is one of my favorite memories-
It was such a fun saying "I Do" and starting my life with Froggy, having fun seeing friends and family at the reception, ending it by dancing the night away at the wedding after party!

Froggy was having trouble getting the Bobby pins out of my hair, so Brother Parker stepped in to help with laughs and great conversation. It was the perfect ending to the perfect day.

this pic shows the end of one life and the start of the next!

Here is to the next 300 years!

Tonight's truths

1. It's never to early for a nice warm cup of Peppermint mocha coffee. It warms the soul and puts this one in a good mood.

2. A good chat with a dear friend is like a long distance hug. Even though we are far apart, just being able to chat makes the distance seem like nothing.

3. An afternoon nap is something needed and this one feels so refreshed afterwards.

Going to be starting something new

This is something that I used to do back in the day to help kept up with my writing and thought that it would be something fun to try here! It's called 3 truths and (they can be good or bad) they have to be something about the day!

Today's are
1. Fall is truly the best time of year, the air seems crisper, the smells are nice and as the weather gets cooler, it just becomes are Crozier time of year!

2. There is just something about a warm bubble bath, that makes one feel carefree and less stressful.

3. Getting a good workout in can totally turn the day from a negative into a positive.

That is all for today, hope that you enjoyed my 3 turth.

Hope to see Y'all tomorrow!

I feel like a failure

At my job for nine and a half years, it may not have been the best job but i enjoyed it, it was a good fit for me and i made it my own. i proved to myself and others that for a time that i could do it, but since i was let go. i feel like maybe i was not as good as i thought. Time to find a new job has been scary I'm not sure what I'm really good at. I'm scared no one will like me, i am scared I won't be a good fit. The thought of leading some new is both exciting and scary at the same time.

I thought that I would enjoy not working but it's so boring, I am such a people person, that it's taking its toll on Froggy and I, while he is being crazy at work and just wants to relax when he gets home, I am ready for something exciting and it's been that way since we moved to Cali.

It just goes to show that opposite attract, he is the day and I am the night. That is how we make it work, playing off of each other strength and weaknesses.

That is also why I feel like a failure because I am not doing my part in helping us, well be an us, I feel like I let so many down by being let go from the job and more by still not having job, I feel like I am not pulling my weight and making everything about me, when it should be about us.

I for the most part know what I would love do and want to do but it's my fear of failure that holds me back and the fact that I don't feel really quifiled to do it. I feel so lost and yet not lost at the same time, I wish I knew who to quite the doubts and fear that have taken control of me.

The one thing I do know is to put my trust in the Lord for all things are possible though Him. This is all part of his grand scheme for my life. I am giving Him the wheel and trusting in Him; that he will lead me in the right direction of when and when I need to be.

But it's scary to do and I feel like a failure there too because I fully have not given him the wheel and maybe that is what I need to do (give him the wheel) to quite the doubts that have taken over my mind, heart and soul.

Phase three : make it happen

Phase four : get the job

It may not be pretty

But this is life, I been working on bettering myself this year and the pictures may not be pretty to look at but they are a work in progress and one can't determine progress with out a base line, so here is my line!

It may not seem like a lot but I have lost 20lbs since Christmas and I still have a long ways to go but I am doing things my way and at my own pace! It's all about living life to the fullest and to the best of one's ability!

This is who I am, this is the me the Lord has shaped me to be and though him all things are possible!

Monday would

Have been my 10th year with the company had things not changed, I kinda always knew deep down in my heart that I would never make it to ten years, but I also thought it would have ended the other way around!

As I look back, I am such a different person from when I started and yet parts of me are still the same! One thing is for sure I am so very thankful for the 9 and half years I had, the growth and the limits I pushed myself, the friendships that I made!

As I continue this next season of life, I am looking forward to seeing where God brings me next, sure it's scary but I am giving Jesus the wheel and trusting my faith that the Lord knows best!

What I think is Amazing

Is the fact that my friends and i can go long periods of time without talking, but when we do talk or see each other it's only like seconds have past instead of days.

I also love the fact that we are like minded souls and understand each other so well. I know for a fact that most will answer a phone call at 2am, respond to a text and be by my side in a heart beat if needed.

This has not been a easy year, but I am still here feeling better and its because of my friends and family!

I also think that it's cool, knowing that I have friends world wide so when froggy and I take our trip around the world (right now it's just a dream), we will have lots of sofas to crash on.

New month, new game plan!

Getting back to doing what makes me happy and it's only been a few days but I am already feeling better. Working out, cutting out sodas, trying to eat right and having small daily chats with God!

It's all about finding what makes you feel good and caring about what other will think, say or do!we only have one life so why not spend it living it to the fullest for oneself!

Stage 21 of the TDF (Tour de France)

way to go team sky and Froomey! Great team work! #TDF2016

After 3 weeks of racing, 21 stages, Froomey has won his 3rd TDF (Tour de France) ! It really was a team win, since the boys kept Froomey safe and for the first time all 9 riders of Team Sky crossed the finish line together!

It's been such an exciting tour, can't wait to see what happens next year!

Wednesday, July 20, 2016

I don't think he is-

But if it does turn out that Froomey has indeed been doping it's going to hurt more than when Lance Armstrong's lies were exposed!

With that said, I believe that Froomey's power is coming from his training and the support of his team! Which has been preparing all year for the TDF (Tour de France) and it shows! The TDF and really any cycling race for that matter is about team work and how well the team works together!

Team Sky moves like one body and that is how they are keeping Froomey in the Maillot Jaune (Yellow Jersey)!  They are doing what they came to do!

If the other teams felt up to attacking, this would be a different race!

Hard to believe that the TDF (Tour de France) only has four days left! Other may disagree but I feel like this has been one exciting tour, we have had so many stages that have ended with photo finishes, crazy riding styles and far less crashes compared to years pasted (I am knocking on wood, now !)

Each stage has brought something new and different to talk about afterwards! It's going to be sad when Sunday arrives (the final day) but thankfully this year is an Olympic year, so it will only be a week from the end of the tour until more cycling is on the Telly!

TDF (Tour de France) stage 12-2016

What a crazy finish! Due to insane crowds and TV motorbikes! There was a crash at the finish that took Froomey and Richie Porte down! Froomey had done a good job of dropping most of the other GC rivals.

It get so crazy that after the crash Froomey picked up his bike and started to run with it and then dropped the bike and continued on feet! While he water for an replacement bike! Two bikes later he crossed the line!

Some might no think it's right but the race officials decided that Froomey should be in Yellow. Which is the right call, for had the crash not happend, he and Richie would have crossed the line close together!

Some are saying that since Froomey ran on foot, that he should be kicked out of the race for breaking some race rules! I feel like he ran because he was trying to make up for the lost time and was focused on what happend! He was not thinking straight but in the end he did cross the line on a bike!

Something does need to be done about the lack of crowd control. That is the great thing about cycling is how close it let's you get to your hero's but some are taking it to far and crashes like today's or much worse happen! I am not sure what can be done, but I feel like there need to be more barriers and/or police presents!

Thankfully tomorrow is the individual time trial, which has lots of barriers!

It's going to be fun to see how the rest of the tour goes and what changes will be made (if any) for the final week and next year's tour!

Here is the Team Sky report from today's stage

That good feeling

Of waking up and finding out that one's head is no longer in a fog, Froomey is still in yellow after stage 10 of the TDF (Tour de France)!

The sliver lining of being sick is that I have lost 5lbs.

TDF (Tour de France) 2016 stage 8

What a stage! Froomey wins stage 8 and will be wearing the Maillot Jaune (Yellow Jersey) tomorrow!
#TDF2016 #TeamSky

What an exciting stage, after not much change in the GC's since my last post, Froomey decided to make the mountains his own again, as he flew down them with amazing control of his bike, going 50 mph's.

You can see that all of Team Sky's training for the Tour has paid off! I just hope that the boys can keep up the pace that they set today for the rest of the race (two weeks to go before Paris)!

All lives matter

Sharing this to show that it's not only a black issue, but it does happen to whites too, but the news media does not cover it as much! In fact it's not a black or white issue, it's a human issue! Tour Dr France (TDF) stage 4 2016

No big change from yesterday's stage 3!

Froomey has dropped back down to 5th

It was another exciting photo finish with Marcel Kittel taking the stage win!

Tomorrow's stage five should be good for Froomey as it's a climbers stage.

(Froomey has spoken out about the tension between the sprinters and GC's, I will try to find the video and post it)

4th of July 2016

so this 4th of July both Froggy and I are sick, it's not the way we planned on spending the weekend! It may not be the best life to some peeps but I am loving life and it's what works for us!

TDF (Tour de France) stage 2 2016

This should be called le tour de First! Since during the first two stages, the wearing of the yellow jersey has been a first! For the first time in 3 Peter Sagan has won a stage of the TDF but not only that he also won the yellow jersey which he will be wearing for the first time during tomorrow stages 3!

Froomey has moved up to being 5th overall, so he is right on track! Hopefully the weather holds and stage 3 will be just as exciting!

TDF (Tour de France) 2016

Its that time of year again, for the next 3 weeks it's the super bowl of cycling! My favorite month of the year for July is the TDF (Tour de France)! Cycling is my favorite sport and the TDF is the icing on the cake!

The start for stage one over here on the west coast st was 3am, and I was up and ready to watch the race at 2:45am! It's amazing what we do for the things we love! The race started with a bang and ended with a few crashes, but in the end Team Sky survived and Froomey is sitting nicely at 25th!

It was great seeing Cavendish finally get to spend the day (tomorrow in fact) wearing the Maillot Jaune (Yellow Jersey)!

But I hope to see Froomey wear it on the finally day in Paris! This is going to be a great 3 weeks and can't wait to find out what happens tomorrow during stage 2!

She lived a long and good life!

Yesterday my grandma (Coco) went on to finally join Pops (my grandpa) for a game of bridge in heaven. She will be remembered for her love of hosting and attending parties. Her love of getting dressed up and not leaving the house until her hair and lipstick were perfect. Her smile that seemed to make her eyes sparkle. Her good deeds and kind words. Her love of reading and writing. Her love of playing card games and watching funny movies on the Telly.

She will be missed but is now in a better and pain free place in heaven. For she will be having fun putting together puzzle sand hosting parties! And of course seeing all of her old friends and family for lots of fun card games!

Kissed by a rose

So excited for due to the lack of rain, I thought that my rose bushes were gone, but this evening just as the sun was going down, the roses decided to show themselves!

Something new, something great!

I feel something in the air, I feel like the winds are changing. Like something bigger and great is just around the river bend. I am not sure what it is or when it's coming! But I know that it's up to me to do something. I have so many ideas but just no idea how to get them off the ground but I trust in the Lord that he has a plan and everything will work out just the way it's ment to be!

Happy Life Day Esa!

Today is my Esa life day and I am so glad that we get to celebrate your life for another year! This has been such a crazy year filled with ups and downs, but though it all, you have been you! The best part is that you are still here and I hope that be the case for the next 150 years! You are my soulmate, you make life so big, bight and full (you don't have to agree with me, but it's true) we are a few month into our 13th year together and yet it feels like we have been together our whole life! I can't wait for our next big adventure because I know that when we are together we are unstoppable and the world better look out for big things are in the works, I have foreseen it! Love and miss you! May your day be filled with extra love and all of your wishes come true!

What a weekend!

It started on Friday with Froggy taking a trip to the ER, which turned out to be nothing (thank goodness). Saturday was spent meeting my Big Sis face to face and having a fun day of laughter, friendship, and love! It was also a miniature Cantina Crew get together! Love the fact that my Big sis was the same offline as she is online. She was very real and not fake! She is no longer pretend!

15 years

Tomorrow Since you have been gone, LeeLee so much has changed and yet so much remains the same. The world is a scary place but I am so thankful for the lessons learned from you. I am thankful for the friendship that I have because of the kindness that you showed me. You helped me be the person I am today by being you, so this year I am not going to dwell on the fact that you are gone because I know that you are in a much better and pain free place.  Instead this year I am going focus on the power of friendship!

Thursday, April 14, 2016

Not again

This May it will be 15 years since LeeLee's passing. Today I have been feeling uneasy because I have another friend who has started her battle with cancer. The same evilness that took LeeLee from me is now affecting another dear friend and it totally sucks. I wish that we could find a cure for this evilness and bring it to a stop so that others don't have to lose their lives. I know that my friend is going to fight this because she is strong and it was caught early but it does bring up losing LeeLee all over again!

So excited!

I get to join a research vessel and go Shark tagging tomorrow! So we never did tag any sharks but it was such a fun day being on the boat and hearing from the scientists about their experiences and research with sharks!

It's been two weeks!

It's been two weeks since I found myself jobless. Still feel s like it was only yesterday, I been having a great time being with my east coast family, but I am feeling a bit bored. I am just not sure yet what it is that I want to do next, I am not even sure what I am good at. I mean I was at my last job for 9 and half years. It was my first real job after college and I really enjoyed what I did. I was one of those crazy peeps that really enjoyed waking up every morning and going to work. I am scared that I am not going to find something that I am going to love as much!

But everything is a season and in God's hands and this is my next big adventure, I am trusting in the Lord that he has something bigger and better planned for me. I am just not sure what that is. But in the meantime I have my husband, family, friends, and faith to keep me going!

Easter 2016

Since my plane ticket was brought for my Florida trip, I had been looking forward to going to the sunrise Easter service with my mum. Easter is my favorite thing about being a Christian! The sunrise service is my favorite because I feel closer to God! The night before Easter we had a big party at the house for all of the March birthday, two of my besties showed up and for once everyone was getting along, after everyone left, I stayed up late talking with my sis and woke up Easter Sunday morning sick as a dog. Needless to say I missed the sunrise Easter service. Could not make it to the regular service. But all is not lost for my Esa is here and I can watch the Easter service online tonight!

9 and a half years!

Life changes and all one can do is fine what they are good at. Life will be different and maybe in some ways better, some ways worse, but I am letting Jesus take the wheel for all of this is part of his master plan for my life!
