Every year I make a big deal about my life and normally i start planning next's years life day celebration the day after! This year i have everything i want, so while i am excited to celebrate i am not going to be making a big deal about it!
This is the first life day of being married and with my husband and the move to cali i feel like a pretty set in life! Of course i will be missing my friends and family, but that is normal and apart of life!
Sometimes you just have to look back at your past and smile about how far you've come.

11 years ago we lost the Columbia 7
February 1st 2014 marked 11 years since the Columbia was lost, May we never forgot the brave men and women she carried!
please say a prayer for the familes of the Columbia 7!
"My fellow Americans, this day has brought terrible news and great sadness to our country. At 9 o'clock this morning, Mission Control in Houston lost contact with our space shuttle Columbia. A short time later, debris was seen falling from the skies above Texas. The Columbia's lost. There are no survivors.
Onboard was a crew of seven -- Colonel Rick Husband, Lieutenant Colonel Michael Anderson, Commander Laurel Clark, Captain David Brown, Commander William McCool, Dr. Kalpana Chawla, and Ilan Ramon a colonel in the Israeli air force.
These men and women assumed great risk in this service to all humanity. In an age when space flight has come to seem almost routine, it is easy to overlook the dangers of travel by rocket and the difficulties of navigating the fierce outer atmosphere of the earth.
These astronauts knew the dangers, and they faced them willingly, knowing they had a high and noble purpose in life. Because of their courage and daring and idealism, we will miss them all the more.
All Americans today are thinking, as well, of the families of these men and women who have been given this sudden shock and grief. You're not alone. Our entire nation grieves with you. And those you loved will always have the respect and gratitude of this country.
The cause in which they died will continue. Mankind is led into the darkness beyond our world by the inspiration of discovery and the longing to understand. Our journey into space will go on.
In the skies today, we saw destruction and tragedy. Yet farther than we can see, there is comfort and hope.
In the words of the prophet Isaiah, "Lift your eyes and look to the heavens. Who created all these? He who brings out the starry hosts one by one and calls them each by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing."
The same creator who names the stars also knows the names of the seven souls we mourn today. The crew of the shuttle Columbia did not return safely to Earth, yet we can pray that all are safely home.

Hearts
when i was younger on ventilates day my mum would stay up the night before and cut out paper hearts so when i would awake on the 14th my room would be covered paper hearts! this tradition goes all the way to college and even now in cali sure they arrived a week late but i have hearts to covered my room in hearts out here!
There is just something about seeing the hearts and knowing that i am loved and not forgotten that puts a smile on my face! when the time comes for us to have kids i look forward to covering their room in hearts too!

Mondays and Besties!
Ugh, what a day! Been fighting off the icky sicky the rest of the house was dealing with over the weekend and now one of the male cats decided to mark me ! Let me tell you getting peed on by a cat is no fun! (it was the black cat)
In other news, i spent most of today working and chatting with one of my oldest and dearest friends (Esa)! Totally made up for the ickyness that was today! My Esa found a time-capsule and was sharing pics of our first years together! Its been fun looking back and seeing how far we have come and how close we still are! Now that I am on the West Coast and she is on the East Coast its more important then every that we keep up the communication! But the good news is that we have been doing an excellent Job of that in the 11 years that we have know each other! (The same is true for all my Besties)
So it just hit that while Froggy and I have been doing the long distance thing for most of our time dating and (thank goodness now that we are married we are on the same coast) now i am doing the long distance thing with my bestests! its a good thing that i have become a pro at this! The key is to make time for each other and even if its only 5 min you make the best of it and make plans for time when you are both free and talk until the cows come home!

We made it!
so i am kinda late in posting this but after five days on the road, driving though an ice storm, fishtailing on some black ice, surviving driving in LA and over the Grape Vine; Froggy, Chloe Ianto and I have made it safely to Visalia,CA!
Its so nice here and everyone is so friendly for we have been out here more so then when we were in FL! Working from home has been great too for my numbers are much higher than they were in the office! Chloe Ianto only complaint is we don't have a place for her to go outside safely. We could let her out but she would just run away and get lost since she does not know her new surroundings! so for now we are keeping her inside!
The air for the time being seems better here and i am finding easier to breath as my chest does not feel as tight. I am not sure how long this will last but i shall enjoy it for as long as it does!
